Can you still qualify for the QueenSix Sydney Poker Grand Finals or Championship Event?
[It is currently the last week before the Season 2 2008 Grand Finals for QueenSix Sydney Poker.

Grand Final Qualification
Each venue has a grand final with additional cash and prizes, which is held in week 10 (next week). The Dolphin Grand Final will be on Wednesday Sep 10. The Boundary Hotel has two poker Grand Finals, one for the Friday competition and one for the Saturday, Sep 12 and 13 respectively.

This season a player can qualify for a venue Grand Final by:
1. Playing 5 of the 9 regular season games. Viewing the leaderboard will show you how many games you have played at each venue and day/time.
2. Playing 4 of the 9 regular season games and notifying QueenSix that you wish to buy-in absent to one of the games you are unable to attend (one per venue/season only).
3. Playing 4 of the 9 regular season games and paying double the entry fee for the Grand Final game.
4. Winning an event during weeks 6 to 9.

QueenSix Sydney Poker Championship Event Qualification

The Championship Event is the highlight of the QueenSix season with the best performing players invited to play for cash prizes and represent their venue.

16 players will qualify for this season's Championship Event.

This season a player can qualify for the Championship Event by:
1. Winning a Grand Final
2. Finishing top 4 on points at a venue after the 10 week season*
3. Wildcard entry**

* If a player qualifies more than once, they will represent the venue/season at which they played the best, determined by the following order of merit: Winning the Grand Final, leaderboard finishing position, points accumulated.

Each venue/season will have 5 players that qualify in this way, so if a player in the top 4 on the leaderboard has played better at other venue seasons (and therefore already qualified), the qualification will go to 5th on the leaderboard etc.

**After the 15 qualifying players are determined, 1 final player will also gain entry. This will go to the highest finishing player on the overall leaderboard who has not already gained one of the 15 places. This player will choose which venue they wish to represent (providing they have played at least 1 game at the chosen venue).
